Chapter 3 Do you Believe in God or Do you Believe God?

We know God only as we know Jesus

Do you believe God? I dint ask, “do you believe in God?”

He that believeth not God hath made him a liar (1 John v:10).

I have friends who believe God is a trinity of three co equal persons. They believe in God, yet they believe not God! They believe in the Greek interpretation of ‘one’ rather than believing one is One. So they believe not mathematical laws either.

They believe their interpretation of scripture more than God’s command in scripture. “Him only” shalt thou serve!

A man has to know God before he believes God. To know God by experience and then having the full understanding he can then can use faith to believe God.

Samuel. Now Samuel did not know the Lord neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him (1 Samuel 3:7) God had spoken yet Samuel knew not God.

How do you know that the voice who speaks to you is God?
The answer, when the word reveals himself as Jesus.

Saul believed in God. He was a religious fanatic. Yet he knew not God. “Who are you?” Lord “I am Jesus!” replied the Lord. Then Saul accepted the word from the Lord through Ananias to preach Jesus to the gentiles. It wasn’t until after he knew God that he believed God. Moses believed in God yet knew not God “Who shall I say sent me? “I am the God of thy fathers the God of Abraham Moses therefore knew God then believed his testimony.

Many believe in God without knowing God. They know he exists but they know not his name. If in our church we preach Jesus as the name of the one God we believe in then we can know him, his word and believe God!

Before I knew God as one I believed in the trinity I did not know God but I did believe in God. Then I saw that God was one and his one name is Jesus from that point on I decided that God was right and I was wrong. From then on I believed God.

If he said he is one and not three then I believe God If he said there is none else no other God I believe God. If the Jesus says I am the first and the last I believe God. Then I believed God. Then I read that he was one then I believed God. My faith grew and still grows. What he said I believe without the Greek definition or strong’s concordance, I believe God. I believe God!

I can’t believe God until I know it’s his testimony. God has to be the revealer. Moses believed God because God revealed it. It was a divine manifesto coming from a divine manifestation, the word spoken as God himself speaking.

I can’t believe God as long as I need another to explain it to me for me. God himself has to speak then I know I can believe God. I accept his testimony because I know him in person. I accept his word because I know him by name. I believe it as he said it because I believe God.Normal0falsefalsefalseEN-GBX-NONEX-NONE/* Style Definitions */table.MsoNormalTable{mso-style-name:”Table Normal”;mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0;mso-tstyle-colband-size:0;mso-style-noshow:yes;mso-style-priority:99;mso-style-parent:””;mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt;mso-para-margin-top:0cm;mso-para-margin-right:0cm;mso-para-margin-bottom:10.0pt;mso-para-margin-left:0cm;line-height:115%;mso-pagination:widow-orphan;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:”Calibri”,”sans-serif”;mso-ascii-font-family:Calibri;mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-hansi-font-family:Calibri;mso-hansi-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-fareast-language:EN-US;}
