KJV: For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Man made titles. Men seek after tiotles to be known by.
Don’t call me father there is only one father
Don’t call me Revered for reverend and holy is his name.
Don’t call me apostolic although I am am apostolic
Don’t call me pentecostal I am that as well
Call me your brother
How do you call me brother?
Titles separate us. The first thing we ask is what church do you go to? As soon as we lable them we can cancel them. so instead of us knowing each other by the spirit we judge each other by the flesh and of course we can get it wrong too. through the same Spirit, by which we cry, “Abba, Father,” the fruit whereof is in glorifying His name, even as our Saviour Christ saith, “He that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven, he is My brother” (Matthew 12:48).
Jesus didn’t come with a title he came with a gift. If you want to do a great work yo too have to go with a gift. the title wont draw a crowd. your gift will. if all you are known by is your title then weak it must be.
He who is God came to them who were men and took on himsef the form of a servant. Deity coming to humanity taking on himself flesh associating and dwelling among us, God so holy and man so wicked yet he was not afraid to call us brethren. Wisdom coming to dwell among man made intellectuality, man made philosophy, man made ideology, intelligence coming to ignorance yet he was not afraid to call them brethren
CHRIST OUR BROTHER. “In all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren (hebrews)
He cold have called himself apostle or prophet but he was not ashamed to call them brethren.
He was accused of a crime, he was mocked for his claim, he was beaten and called a liar. he was laughed at scorned and mocked yet he was not ashamed to call them brethren.
