A MINI COURSE

1.How must be worship God?
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23.24).
2.How must be worship the Lord?
give unto the Lord the glory due to his name will ship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 29:2).
3.Is singing a part of our worship and are we to use musical instruments no worship?
Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD (Psalm 150:1-6)
4.What did King David say about public worship?
I was glad when they said and to me let us go into the house of the Lord my soul honours yay even think death for the courts of the Lord my heart and my flesh cries out for the living God for a day in thy courts is better than 1000 I’d rather be a door-keeper in the house on my God than dwell in the tent of wickedness (Psalm 1 to 2 verse one Psalm 84) ????????
5.Does God defeat our nemeses when we worship and give him praise?
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten(2 Chronicles 20:21,22).
6.Can a man be released from bondage and spiritual depression when he praises?
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.(Acts 16:25,26).
7.Can we discover God’s presence when we worship corporately?
It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; (2 Chron 5:12-14).
8.Does God bless us for going to Church even though we are the temple of God?
Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah (Psalm:84:3,4).
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD (Isaiah 66:22)
9.Fellowship is essential and profitable
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching (Hebrews 10;25).
And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ (Acts 5:42)
10.Fellowship is the church demonstrating a public presence.
With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart (Acts 2;46)
NOTES: There is something awesome about public worship, this is seen in the tabernacle of David. The glory of the Lord came down and folks gave an unlimited sacrifice. The corporate praise unlocks glory that is a public witness for generations to come. Going to church does not make us Christian. What makes us a follower of Jesus is our fellowship with the brethren. Which we are not to neglect. Fellowship that is planned and prepared is most profitable for edification, exhortation and comfort and many other Godly reasons. We are the church yet worship is most dynamic and life changing when we collectively demonstrate God’s goodness. And for this we should strive.
Questions to Consider: 1.What happens when a king prays in the temple ( 2 Chron 7:1-3). 2.The nation sacrificed and all Israel stood and worshipped the Lord (2 Chron 7;4-7) 3.Can public corporate worship enlarge our vision for the city and nation? 4.There is a blessing of corporate worship what is it 2 Chron 7;8-12.  5. Describe the enlargement of Solomon’s territory (2 Chron 8;1-8). 6.. Describe the subjugation of Solomon’s enemies (2 Chron 8;7-10). 7. Name 10 practical benefits of worship in a church as opposed to a home?
For further Study:  Solomon gathers Israel around the ark. (2 Chron 5). Solomon and his passion for God’s place (2 Chron 6;18-20).
