A Revival Power Paper of Paul B Thomas

Remember the fire must be burning on the altar and it must never go out.
“My fire shall not go out” (Lev 6:12,13).

By Paul B Thomas

Daniel lived among the times of the kings and the book of Daniel begins with judgement for the wrong one of the kings performed. Jehoiakim was handed over to his enemies for an event that we read of in JEremiah 36:22 Jehoiakim had destroyed the scriptures. When Jehudim was reading then scroll Jehoiakim snatched it from him and cut it up wi5 a knife. The result this scripture tells us is that “he shall have none to sit upon the throne of Egypt and his dead body shall be cast out in 5e day to the heat and in 5e night to the frost” IN Jeremiah 22:18,19 we read that Jehoiakim was buried with the burial of an ass. Thus fulfilling scriptures that tell us he that despise the the word shall be destroyed
(Proverbs 13:13(.

Daniel served the king throughout his lifetime and was chosen because he was young and had no blemish in him. In Daniel 1:9 we find how Daniel found favour with the prince of the Eunuchs and later the king preferring him above all the princes and presidents

So we find Daniels long career of success even though the kings were anti God at the time. Now Daniel was not anti authority for he served in the kings palace and found favour with the king. His statement in “ o king live forever” shows us that he was not anti-royalty,

He had an ability to stand in the kings presence ( Daniel was industrious, wise, clever and witty. The king appointed a daily provision  of the kings wine and meat. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not be defiled by the kings meat (Daniel 1:5,8,12). It was Daniels desire for purity that gave him the privilege of being in the kings chamber. It was Daniels desire for purity that gave him the position of kings advisor. It was Daniel’s desire for purity that gave whim the promotion and in Daniel 6 it was Daniels purity that offered protection when he was cast into the lake of fire.

Should we submit to authority?

Paul’s statement

Obey them 5T have the rule over you

Paul in the book of acts

Daniel served 5 king he was loyal to e king but the king ,ade a law which forbid him prayed god to his god it was then that Daniel went against the king

The result, king Nebuchadnezzar said

Acts 5:27

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, 28Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. 29Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. 30The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. 31Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 32And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Daniel 6

1It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; 2And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. 3Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. 4Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 5Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

6Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. 7All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellers, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. 8Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. 9Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.

Daniel in the Lions’ Den

10Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. 11Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. 12Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. 13Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

The king was delighted all the people of his empire would pray to him alone for 30 days. He signed a decree and made it law that anyone who prayed to their god during is time would be cast into the den of lions (DAniel 6:7). DAniel was the president of the nation. Verse ten tells thT he went into his house and his windows being opened in his chamber toward Jerusalem began to pray (v10).

My conclusion we are to serve lan as long as man does not hinder us obeying gods laws.

When John the Baptist was speaking to neb he wasn’t speaking up to him he was speaking down to him. Because the oracle of god is never subjected to any other administrative power when god is speaking through you

The problem is god has not been speaking through us. Some say John lost his head therefore Herod had power over John…wrong Jesus said of a man born of a woman there is none greater than John the Baptist… but he 5hat is least in the kingdom… when god speaks no body can stop it…god turns the kings heart…god had said all men would one day worship him the king could not stop it.  No king government or army will ever note this will ever stop the saints worshipping the one true God. Never

Verse 24

4And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

25Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

26I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
