Why Preachers Need a Global Mindset

Apostolic Preachers

I was reading a book this morning by James Reed on why job seekers should have a global mindset. in it he states that Jobseekers are not competing for the job down the road anymore but are competing against global job seekers who also want the same job as you and that In order to remain visible and viable we have to have a global mindset.I believe this is also true of the preacher today

A global preacher is one who is flexible, adaptable and connectable. Gone are the days when a preacher was unapproachable. If you are not approachable on or offline you are not alive!A global preacher is not one who not only travels overseas but can build working networks of key people to doing incredible things overseas.A global preacher can build relationships and out of them build key projects. todays preacher does not build alone. No man is alone! preachers who build worthwhile projects built together, everywhere.Without a global mindset one cannot fulfil one’s ministry potential. Without a global mindset one will be left behind. your ministry has to have a platform where you are visible and not just present, viral and not just mobile. media active and not just active in media. Todays preacher competes for a Christian tv spot and much as a job seeker competes with a stranger for the same job. Yes I know we don’t believe that ministry should ever be competitive but it is and here’s why. Whoever gets on tv before you has a head start to educate and inform the world with their ideology before you do. Secondly, whoever influences the crowd with a new Ebook gains a customer and partner before you do. That customer may never be yours once influenced with a doctrine that you know is not biblical. Thirdly, Whoever gets their course material out there before you do wins that person as a loyal customer in a sense you and I are competing for the souls of men and the loyalty of those who can support our ministry! The preacher who has a global mindset stays ahead and probably stays in ministry too. You cannot fulfil your ministry potential without a global first mindset.

A famine of Purpose

Destiny MastersLife Builders

Life is getting more and more hectic, more to do and more to keep us busy doing what we’ve always done. Now we have more things to keep us doing new things that we could do well without. The distraction of things has led to a famine of purpose. When we say, we don’t have time, we are giving in to time, when in reality time has no power to stop us doing big things, except of course when it is wasted!. Since time creates nothing and we do, we have to create “events.” many of them in order to experience purposeful living. The famine of purpose is because we have too many things driving us. The secret, get rid of things and start creating events.

Jesus gave a parable of a blind man and told him to go wash in Siloam.

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth2And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. 4I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 5As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, 7And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. The neighbors therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? 9Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he. Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? 11He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. (John 9:1-11).

There are many born blind. I’m talking of a spiritual birth. where a man apparently enters the kingdom but unable to see truth. I always thought one comes into the kingdom Whole, not blind. A man truly Born again comes into the LIGHT does he notJesus said. “Except a man be born again he cannot SEE the kingdom of heaven (John 3:5).It makes me ask this question. Are those who call themselves Christian who refuse to see God as one, born of spirit and water for water tells me one is washed from his sins his blindness if you like. see you can witness to a lost man. Talk to him as much as you like about God. how blessed he will be, tell him about destiny and God has a purpose for him. Its too no avail because unless he BORN OF WATER AND SPIRIT (John 3;5) first, he cannot even SEE the what you are talking about he cannot even SEE the Kingdom of God.Except a man be born again he cannot see proposition today: Its more than knowing Jesus its experiencing Pentecost. And secondly Born blind! Why Siloam?Siloam means SENT. Jesus could have just healed this man but why did he sent him sick to Siloam. Because Jesus saw something more important than just getting healed. He saw salvation coming to him. In other words a man has to go get the mud off him the carnal man he has to wash in the pool called Pentecost in order to get clean again, born again. its only after Pentecost where a man is born of water and spirit can he truly SEE God and the things of the spirit, The mud man cannot discern spiritual things they are foolishness to him. he has to have the spirit in order to see and comprehend truth. If you are blind today if the scriptures don’t make sense to you then the first thing you have to do is believe. If you can believe in Jesus word s you can be saved. The first thing demanded of us all is that we obey Jesus. He said repent and be baptised every one of you for the remission of sins that’s the first thing we have to do, If you can believe that then you are ready to get saved. he that first believes then is baptised shall be saved. Now if you can believe that you can be saved.Jesus did not say you needed knowledge or you needed a discipleship course or you needed to understand the end times no If you believe Jesus then be born again, its that simple (John 3:5). The mud has to come off. The stuff that you were born into Adams race with the carnal mud nature. The religious Muddled mind. You have to wash it off!

He Told me To Go…

Only the unbelievers argue about baptism. Only unbelievers argue about the mud. Let him who is filthy be filthy still. Let the blind lead the blind. I’m getting my mud off. How about you!

Siloam means “sent.” the blind man had to go to Siloam first and so doe we Jesus commanded the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem and wait for the power of the Holy Ghost to come upon them before they went into all the world. Similarly you and I cannot be SENT until we first have Pentecost. We have to wash before we are SENT. we are not sent from the time we get healed we are sent from the time we have Pentecost. Only after Pentecost do we have a testimony. Only after Pentecost are we ready to be SENT 10Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? 11He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. (John 9:1-11). Notice this point he didn’t say I went and was healed no I washed and received my sight!Only after Pentecost are we washedOnly after Pentecost can we seeThe religious folks began to question Jesus, was he really blind. you see here was the blind asking about the one born blind. Who sinned his parents or him? they asked. Carnal man is born of Adams race we are all made of that mud. It’s a Level playing Ground here. The Jews couldn’t see their own blindness that was their sin. (v41) Therefore Jesus aid to them you shall remain blind. The danger of rejecting truth is that you will never see it. Do what you want unless God opens the “eyes of your understanding” you will never get it no matter how much you study or read your bible. God will keep you blind until you accept Pentecost in all its fullness is for you. Remember Jesus at the baptism the godhead was manifest. No one can see the oneness of God without water baptism in Jesus name.

You just know Jesus like this blind man. He began by calling him “man” a man that is called Jesus opened my eyes (v11) then he went onto call him a prophet (v17) finally he had to confess that Jesus was the son of God (9).

Do you want to know him or do you want to know him as he is if you want to know him as he s then you have to start with Pentecost as is! If you can accept the new birth there will be a remission of your sins as you’ve never known it before.

Paul.
