God was an Angel in the Form of a Man
Whoever deity can reveal himself to man, then provide himself as man’s sacrifice for sin, and Saviour, let him be God!
Jacob…wrestled with a man, (30) he said ‘I have seen “God” face to face. (Genesis 32:24) God appeared in person to every one of the prophets and believers in the Old Testament. God appeared in person to them and others. Unlike Islam where Gabriel appeared to Muhammed and he wrote the Quran, The “LORD GOD” HIMSELF appeared to many prophets and kings and spoke to them the commands and words that we find written in the bible. The report of ‘many witnesses’ is thus superior to that of Muhammad and was indeed before him, written over many thousands of years as compared to Muhammad as one man’s revelation and account of all of history.
God appeared in person to Adam, (Genesis 3:9-12) Eve, (Genesis 3:13) Job, (Job 38:1). Abraham, (Genesis 18:1) Hagar, ( Genesis 16:12 ) Isaac, (Genesis 26:2) Jacob, (Genesis 32:24) Moses, (Exodus 3:2) Aaron, (Numbers 12:5) Baalam,(Numbers 22;31) Joshua, (Joshua 5:13). Gideon, (Judges 6:12). Manoah, (Judges 13:3) Solomon, (1 Kings 3:5) David,( Samuel (1 Samuel 3:21) Elijah, (1 Kings 19:9-18) Daniel, (Ex 24:9,10). Ezekiel,(Ezekiel 1:28; 2:1) Isaiah, (Isaiah 6;1) Amos, Miciah, Zechariah (Luke 1:11)
The New Testament reveals the coming of the God-Man. Jesus, Emmanuel God with us born of a woman yet God of the woman, born of flesh yet himself self created. Son of Abraham yet Father of Abraham the one who Abraham saw. Coming as one of us to save us. to take on human sin and so become both saviour and sacrifice. ‘Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.’ (1 Timothy 3;16)
The Angel of the Lord

The person of God was an angel in the Old TestamentThe God that fed me the angel that redeemed me (Genesis 48;15).There appeared to Moses and ANGEL…in a bush saying I am the God of thy Fathers (Acts 7;30).The ANGEL of the Lord…(appeared to Manoah and his wife) Manoah said “we have seen God”(Judges 13;3).The eternal omnipresent Spirit of the Lord was the Lord (2 cor 3;17) and the ANGEL presence of the lord was the Angel of the Lord. God himself appearing as an angel. These scriptures then reveal that God himself appeared to many and had conversation with them and eat with them and instructed them. Unlike Muhammad who was visited by Gabriel these patriach’s before him wee visited by the Lord God himself who instructed them. thus giving them a greater and fuller revelation of himself, his presence, person and deity.
