Whatever JESUS is, he is that eternally. He is eternal in all his attributes and titles. He cannot be King without being King forever.Since he is Lord, he is Lord forevermore.Since he is God he is God without beginning or ending. His throne is without end his rule is without end and his reign is without end and since he rulers forever no man can say he is absent or that one day he will come back. He is ever present, cannot be absent and will always be king.Isaiah saw the Lord. the Lord God high and lifted up as King. No prophet told of God as one more than Isaiah.  No prophet taught that Jesus was Lord and God more than Isaiah.I am the first and I am the Last and beside me there is no God (Isaiah 44:6)If Jesus is the first and the last then why do many call him the second person? Note too, the title first and last is given only to him not the spirit. there is no third person. Jesus is the only person. Father in creation son in redemption Spirit in salvation/ He has never ceased being the first or the last.Beside me there is no God. (Isaiah 44:8)May say that Jesus is seated beside God right now. I disagree. God himself says there is none beside him. Jesus is the true  God seated on his own throne and on his own throne he alone is God. remember Jesus has never been without a throne since he was ‘born king.’ He has always been God, even as man he was God. In the manger he was God and on the cross he was God and since he was and is God he always will be forevermore GodFor unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  (Isaiah 9:6)It doers not say unto God a son was born. God did not give birth to a son further a son is always one born of a father and a father is always a son of another. In Gods case. he is neither the son of a Father neither is he as a Father a son of another. He the ancient of days has neither father or mother. (Hebrews) Since Jesus has no father he must be the everlasting Father as Isiah calls him Father here, the ‘everlasting father’ implying of whom has no beginning of days. Note it is to us that that the child was born. To us here on earth. he was born to us hence the name the ‘son of man’ he therefore was given to all men. no other person has ever had the title Son of man.Does God have a son? May I affirm the scriptures Great is the mystery of Godliness GOD was manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). The Son is the Father incarnated. God coming to us to save us. Jesus is God himself in the flesh. If he was born a child then that means he is no longer a child. but as God he existed as God and therefore forevermore is God. His sonship is temporal yet his deity is forevermore eternal.Where is he that is born king (Matt 2:2)Did Isaiah see Jesus as the king. He sure did. “In the year of King Uzziah’s death, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up …” (Isaiah 6:1).“These things Isaiah said, because he saw His glory, and he spoke of Him”(John 12:41 NASB).Jesus was born king. and as king he has never abdicated his throne. He has never ceased being king. I hear so may saying Jesus will come to be king. Friend he was born king and he has never stopped being king. His reign is for ever and ever amen. He is not the coming king he is the ever present king. You’re king, my king, King forevermore.Paul
